Men's Adventure Hybrid Fleece Full-Zip Jacket is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent layer fleece Comfortable, easy wearing light fleece. This would work well under a ski jacket, or any warmer jacket for that matter, as its not too thick. I'm usually a large in just about everything, but a medium fit perfect here. Keep in mind I use as a layer, so just a t-shirt underneath. With that being said, I think $80 retail for this is a tad steep (but I got it on $40 clearance in store). It has a chest pocket, which is nice, but its a very light fleece. And it does shed, especially all over your seatbelt. I've worked around this with a vest or light overcoat on. But overall, this is a comfortable multi use jacket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for Spring/Summer but Beware.. I have a high pile fleece from LLbean in the past and it’s great still but I wanted to get a new color/style to add to my collection. Saw this and decided to try it out. It’s definitely not meant for winter, it’s much thinner than my previous. I like the new design with breath ability under the arms w the stretch/soft polyester. But the pile is shorter and immediately caused a mess every time I wore a seatbelt or used a back back/shoulder bag. The fleece ripped out and fluffs up everywhere making a mess. I have washed it many times n it still happens. Sad about it. But still love the color n lightness of it because my older one would be too hot in the summer nights, this one is perfect. Hope this helps a little.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My New Cool Weather Uniform I bought this fleece jacket on sale and feel I got a good value. I got the black and think this was the best choice. The LLBean logo stands in stark contrast with the black. I think a more subdued color logo would have been more tasteful. I have not had a problem with the lint or shedding that others have mentioned in their reviews. At 5’11” and 160 the large is a little roomy but it sure is comfortable. It’s great for wearing around the house during the cooler months but would use something warmer for the outdoors if the temperature is in the 50s or lower.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just about to order my 3rd I was just ordering my 3rd jacket and noticed the comments about shredding/lots of lint. I forgot that yes at the beginning I was shocked at how much lint they produced. However, that went away. I don't recall that they produce any lint now. I love that they are feather-weight: perfect for layering in the winter and just right for a cool summer morning. I'm stocking up on them as I can't be assured that I will be able to get them in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleeves too short Quality is nice, tall sizing sucks! Even the size/fit question doesn't realize that tall/short is not the same as large/small. I usually order XL Tall while my true size is more like L Tall, but LL Bean tall is a bit on the short sleeve side and XL usually adds the little bit extra. However, this cut makes the body a bit wider and the sleeves a bit shorter. Raising arms to level, like doing some outdoor sports like snowshoeing or XC, pulls the sleeves back to where they are 1.5 to 2 inches too short. Same happens by putting a fitting rain jacket over this one. When will those designing cuts realize that TALL is not the same as BIG? Disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Light weight warm It is light weight but keeps me warm in the mid-50s. Personally, I think it would be nicer without the “hybrid” material used. It allows wind to penetrate under the arm area. Also, I have worn it on three different occasions and had washed it (5) times in my attempt to remove the shedding. IT STILL SHEDS - Spreading into my car seat belt. Also, the collar could be made s bit stiffer so it will stand instead of collapsing. See pictures of the shedding trapped in a lint roll and the weak collar.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shedding Disappointed in quality. Sheds on shirts on sweaters and on my seat belt. I had a llbean fleece jacket for 10 years. Loved it and wore it out . i decided to order a new one and my wife said try a different color other than black. I even washed the jacket to see if would stop shedding. It helped but not the same quality and llbean standard of years ago. Very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sheds I wore this jacket once. When I returned to my car after an errand, I saw lots of fleece shreds along my seatbelt. The belt had rubbed lots of the fleece off of the jacket. The shreds wound up all over my pants and car seat. I returned the jacket. That should not have happened to the jacket. This is not the first time I have had shedding problems with Bean fleeces. I’ve had shedding on the INSIDE of fleeces.
