I purchased a light color pant and the zipper lays flat and looks great. Not happy. FYI; I wish LL bean had more 28 or even better 27 inch length pants. I've purchased way more than a dozen LL Bean jeans. Sometimes in 28 inch length more in 29 inch. As said before 27 would be even better.
