Rated 4 out of 5 by from disappointed I would not recommend this for a child with special needs. I chose this rolling book bag for the ease of use. This wasn't the case. The zipper was caught after just a few weeks of use. No one at school was able to get the bag open. So my 10 year old grandson had to cut the bag to get access to his books and supplies. So now, it's back to the old tote bag. He has a prosthetic device on his left leg, which results in a limp and balance problem. This was initially great help for his mobility. The material and construction was excellent. but the flap over the zipper's catch too easy. That was the issue. NOW I am stuck with a new bag and can't use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent backpack We have purchased 150 of these backpacks for the Windsor, CT Weekend Wheels program. We provide food to school age children who are experiencing food insecurity. The program began in 2013 and we have only had zipper problems with five of your backpacks. I could provide pictures at a later date.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing The interior storage space is really limited. My son needs to carry a lunch box, a water bottle and a single briefcase style notebook (about the dimensions of a 1.5" binder) and he can barely squeeze them in to the pack. Notice how he zippers only open about 1/3 of the length of the pack. This makes putting things in and out REALLY difficult especially because of the rigid back where the roller handle is stored. Even worse, the really big flap of material that covers the zipper keeps getting jammed in the zipper teeth... This last time it has gotten jammed so badly that we cannot free it. I had to write to the company to see if they will refund or replace. Unless this roller pack goes under a major redesign, I would never repurchase. Giving it 2 stars (reluctantly) instead of 1 because I still feel that LL Bean is using a very high quality and durable material in their packs which would likely hold up as well as all of our past packs have. Also, the wheels do seem strong and durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The New Rolling Deluxe Bookpack We love it! My son is 8 and loves the new rolling deluxe bookpack! They stand behind their product. They listened to customers and this year’s model has a mesh water bottle holder. It rolls easily and zipper doesn’t snag. Plenty of room for school materials and after school Extremely well made and rolls easily.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality but too big I was looking for a rolling backpack suitable for an adult. I thought this would be perfect to fit my lunch, laptop & other stuff for work but it’s much too large & doesn’t have a padded pocket for electronics. The search continues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! This rolling back pack is perfect for saving my back while getting what I need to and from work every day. Wheels are quiet. Zippers work great. It's ideal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too heavy I bought this rolling backpack for my 14 year old daughter who has stroke like symptoms because her backpack was too heavy. This is great when you roll it, but she has to do stairs a few times a day and it’s even heavier than her previous backpack. I do like the space, but way too heavy for her.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from grandson backpack got this for my grandson because the back packs are so hevay now for school. He hasn't used it for school yet but we have used it for two mimi vacations. It has been great and holds a lot of items. Rolls nice and the zipper revamp has been good so far. We did have an older back pack where the zippers got stuck in the material all the time. So fr this is great. The other great plus is those are his school colors.
