Missing insulation
This was almost a 5 stars. I have to have it altered with a bunch of high-pile fleece in the elbow area, making the good deal obsolete.

Love the print because it's different!
Super fit! 3 zippered pockets a benefit! Haven't tested warmth yet because I'm overwhelmed at the cuteness!

Cozy but ripped after a week
Was really pleased when I first received this coat; it was warm, comfortable, and the print is subtle but fun. Unfortunately, I noticed a small tear on the sleeve today and now feathers are coming out; the outer shell material must be particularly thin or fragile. I'm really surprised because everything else I own from LL Bean is high quality. It's disappointing.

Nice looking coat
I bought this coat as a gift. It fit well and the style looks nice on the recipient. It is light in weight and can be easily compressed and rolled up to fit in a bag when traveling on a plane. it will probably be warm in temperatures above zero F with a fleece jacket..

Poor Quality
Great coat UNTIL yI notice the there is hardly any down fill in the mid section of both arms. At first, I love the coat, but one morning when I took my dogs outside, I felt very cold air in the elbow area all the way around the midsection of the arm. When I felt them, there was very little down that heat was escaping while just standing outside. It's definitely going back. I suggest llBean start making clothes here where they can keep quality control in check and supervise the workers, not just outsource the making of an American brand.

Nice coat
The fit is a little narrow in the shoulders, but I have wide shoulders. It doesn't seem quite as warm as advertised. If it is windy, you're going to feel it go right through the coat. If it is a calm cold day (10 degrees F) you'll be fine with a sweater underneath. I didn't have any zipper issues as others have stated.

Very comfy & warm
I needed a new warm coat, after enjoying my very heavy LL Bean for many years. My last L.L. Bean coat was very heavy to lug around. This one is much lighter. The length was perfect. I am short and hate to spend money on alterations. So I was pleased that the petite coat fit perfectly and is warm plus big enough for a sweater. Even the hood fit properly.

Zipper is tough and feathers are coming out
This coat has two zippers that have to to catch in order to zipper....this makes it a bit tough because they don’t always line up together! I am also finding feathers all of from this coat on my clothes as well as on my car seat after driving!! I am not happy with this coat and will be returning it!!
