Comfortable and fit well, however this boot is not ideal for extended walking or treks beyond casual wear. Can be slippery on icy surfaces. No issues with traversing through deep snow in short bursts. Feet remained dry and warm even to -20 F in Nome, AK this winter.

Very happy
I bought these for my husband who needed a good pair of winter boots especially for snow shoveling and other sorts of outdoor things. These fit like a dream, they're very comfortable and they're very warm. He is very happy.

First Impressions
They are a little snug getting on, but otherwise comfortable. Very similar to my previous LL Bean boots, However, appear to have more robust stitching at the rubber fabric interface. I'm pleased.

Very well made boot
Well made & very warm in moderately cold temperatures. The tread doesn’t hold snow to later deposit inside the house.

Boots For the Cold
Comfortable to wear outside in the cold. Traction, can adjust tightness with the laces, and they are warm as long as you are moving. If I stop and stand around I find my toes getting a bit chilled, but I don’t spend a lot of time standing around outside in the cold. It may have also been the socks as well. I like the boots and am happy that I own them. I know I can count on Bean boots. I did not find them too narrow and I have wide feet so they may have fixed the width.

Runs a bit large
Boot is great in all respects except one. It runs large. 95% of the time I am an 11 which is what I ordered. When I lace these up the left and right eyelets are right up against each other even with the thickest sock I could buy. The kicker is they are a beast to get on and off. Should have sent them back but its too late now.
