Women's Storm Chaser Slip-Ons 5 is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 173.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from sizing is off I rated this shoe 3 stars ONLY because of the unreliable sizing. I wear a 9 med and every shoe I have ever ordered fit. I first ordered true to size despite reading reviews about sizing issues and true to reviews the shoe was way to big. Width ok, but I could put two fingers wide in the heel of shoe with wool socks on. I traded the 9 for an 81/2 med. Just got them today. I do like the shoe, but even these slip some on my heel. I have tried with heel supports inside. I am still trying to decide if I keep them. I know an 8 would be too small. Very disappointed that wherever these shoes are being made, the sizing is way off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long time owner I've had these storm chaser's for years (current pair is pair #3) & love them. I live in northern Ohio where we can have winter that changes daily. These are perfect for rain, sleet, snow, ice - you name it. They fit great. I am the type when I find something I love I buy back up's in case the product is discontinued and that is the reason I bought this most recent pair. The one's I've been wearing are 6 years old, still in good shape but I didn't want to be without! My husband also loves the men's. The only thing I advise - be aware they can feel a bit heavy when first worn and you may have to adjust your footing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed with narrow opening I had hoped this would be the perfect winter slip-on shoe for me as construction looks sturdy and well made and it had so many good reviews - but unfortunately with my high arched foot, the opening was too narrow to comfortably put this shoe on. The stiff upper part painfully scrapes the top of my foot and the heel portion bends in - not a slip-on for me. Once I managed to wrangle my foot in wearing a very thin sock, I found that the heel area was too loose. Would probably be OK with a thicker sock but then I wouldn't have been able to put it on at all. I will be returning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heel slip I eventually ordered this shoe in 3 sizes. Size 10 (my usual size), then 9 1/2, then a 9. The 10 was way too large and heel slipped out when walking. The 9 1/2 was slightly too large and heel slipped out when walking. The 9 fit perfectly but my heel slipped out of the opening when walking. Tried with super thick SmartWool socks...still slipped. Really wanted these boots to work but the heel slippage issue was a deal breaker for me. Ended up buying a Hunter shoe boot with a draw cord at the heel for a snug fit. They are perfect. Perhaps LLBean could look at this design element since heel slippage seems to be an issue for many customers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality but sizing is big These shoes were advertised as fitting like a tennis shoe. I wear 8 1/2 to 9 medium width in tennis shoes. I got 81/2 in these and my feet were swimming in them with wool socks on. They might be fine with heavy rag wool socks, but I don’t want to change socks to slip outside to get the mail or meet the UPS delivery. I exchanged them for size 8. My heel still slips around inside the shoes. I kept them, and will find them useful for quick trips outside, but I will not wear them for a walk in the woods or any distance. The shoe quality is excellent and seems that they will last for years, even if you get a good fit and can wear them “like tennis shoes “.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Storm Chasers Slip on Women's I ordered my normal size 8M in the Storm Chasers slip on boot in black..Nice boot ..BUT not made right and sizing is way off!! Tried on with a medium sock which I normally wear it was huge! I was walking out of them! Could fit two fingers in the back at heel..They sent me a 7-1/2..Could fit one finger in the back and walked right out of the 7-1/2 too! Returned both... So I went in the store and tried on a 7 still walked out of them and could fit one finger in the back by heel, and the 7 was to small because normal size is an 8..These boots are defective in all sizes I tried on.. They have a defect that should be fixed before selling more of the Storm Chasers! For the price of over $100.00 they should fit right!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to put on, stays on and very comfortable I love these shoes. I wear a size 9 with a heel lift and Super Feet inserts in all my shoes so I like to size up for extra toe room and the 9.5 size was very comfortable for me with ample toe space. I would characterize my feet as regular maybe slightly narrow, with long toes. I have always purchased a medium width shoe. I had no problems getting my foot into the shoe, in fact it was easy for me. These shoes are easy to put on, my feet stayed put inside and they didn’t slide around and they are super comfortable. I highly recommend for those of you that have the same type of foot as mine. I’m purchasing two more pair today.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't like the re-design I have bought probably 8 pair of storm chasers throughout the years. They are great for morning chores on my horse farm. This last pair I bought in March 2020 and these were re-designed. I miss the higher cut design. These also feel "roomier" than before but not in a good way. Also, it seems that every pair I buy, they begin to leak. This pair is no exception. Of course I'm right outside the year mark. I love these shoes, I miss the old design. I will purchase again but just disappointed that they continually spring leaks. I do wear them everyday for about 2 hours.
