Women's Rangeley Flannel Shirt, Button-Front is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Flannel for Fall Days in the South When I read reviews before I ordered this flannel shirt, I saw some written by disappointed customers, who had apparently expected classic heavy winter flannel fabric. Not me, I have plenty of those for later in the winter, but I loved this plaid and I did want a second lightweight flannel shirt for the mild (and, late-arriving) cool Fall days we enjoy in South Carolina. This is a beautiful cotton flannel, soft and smooth and wonderful to wear over a cotton tee or by itself. I'm delighted to see LLBean offering a range of flannel fabrics, to choose depending on the range of cool to cold weather when flannel is the best!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good shirt for fall weather I would not consider this a flannel shirt. It is more like cotton twill material.. the sleeve length is good the body fit good but what I do not like about a lot of LLBean tops is that they are too short. I wish they offered a tall version. The regular length of tops is ok is you are going to tuck the op in but when you want it to cover your bum or hang out under a sweater or vest, it does not. The item washed well but I do not put it in the dryer becasue it has rayon in it and rayon fabric does not like dryers. Hanging it to dry did not require any ironing before wearing the shirt..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Shirt I initially thought this was a great shirt but after a few months of wear and washing, it's deteriorating. The fabric around the the cuff opening has frayed away on both sleeves and the overall look of the shirt is poor. The feel of the fabric is nice but it's not a successful cloth to hold up to even light wear. Not the usual LL Bean standard. I chose the Dark Blue Spruce if that makes a difference to the quality control group. Also, it doesn't need a small, white, LL Bean tag on the bottom of the button panel. No one can read the label and it just detracts from the shirt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and So Soft This Tencel blend washes up beautifully, keeps its colors and is a great soft shirt for layering. It is a bit lighter weight than Bean’s other flannel shirts, but not flimsy. I’m maybe on the taller side of those who wear a petite and I wouldn’t want this shirt cut any shorter. This seems to be the only accommodation for petite tailoring however, as the shoulders are wide for me and the sleeves so long I need to roll the cuffs once. I bought the XL because I like to wear these shirts over a tee or turtleneck but next time I will try a L. Additionally, as always, I would love to see smaller patterned plaids, to lessen the Paul Bunyan effect of wide horizontal/vertical striping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I carefully picked items from the Bean this year on my wish list. Hubby bought everything I had on the Bean list. I work outside a great deal and wanted warmth. I received two of these shirts. I just don’t know what to say. The arms are so big the underarm literally hangs down to chest level. I can literally wrap the shirt front over one another. I have about 7 of the pinpoint shirts in PM and they fit great. I would love to have these flannel shirts but seriously do not know what size to order. Do these shrink after washing and drying and that is why they are so big? My bra band size is 40.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Shirt :) I just love this shirt. Adding that bit of Tencel to soften up the cotton was a GREAT idea; it gives a wonderful feel - so comfortable. The relaxed fit plus the addition of tencel influenced my decision to choose a medium rather than large, I vacillate between the two sometimes but mostly I wear medium; I figured since it's not 100% cotton it probably won't shrink like all-cotton does. Haven't washed it yet, so I don't know the shrinkage, but I feel confident it won't shrink a lot. I use this shirt as an overshirt, and this particular plaid, Carbon Navy, was a smart choice; it goes with every color crewneck I wear under it. Just love it :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight flannel I absolutely love the toasted coconut plaid. I first tried a smaller size to get a semi-fitted look, but it was too tight and too short. My regular size worked, and although it is relaxed, it is not sloppy. I put the vintage plum LLB logo tee under it. Other colors of tees that would work with the plaid are dark celadon, vintage and soft indigo, and the new raven blue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too wide in the hips I know this is a relaxed-fit shirt, but the recent styling with gussets on the side make the shirt flare out way too much for someone with a slender shape. The xs shirt fit well except for 4-5" of extra fabric around the bottom hem that looked silly rather than "relaxed" on me ( and my hip measurements match the size chart for xs). I sent it back, even though I liked the fabric, color, and tailoring quality of the shirt.
