Nice Gloves
Since it is off season I cannot completely comment on these gloves, specifically winter performance. I can say they fit well, well made, look nice and they do feel quite warm.

Either bad quality, or I got a defective pair
One section of the outer covering material on my LL Bean men's down gloves basically evaporated ... precisely the same panel of fabric (the one that covers the back side of the thumb) on both gloves. This pair was packed as a spare and received almost no use.

Great for play, not meant for heavy work.
Great fit, good for snowshoeing and blizzards. Perhaps a bit too warm above 35 if you're moving. Great fit especially since I'm an XL that usually has to order XXL in gloves.,

Not disappointed in these gloves
Great gloves for driving, Even at zero degrees they keep my hands warm enough until the car warms up. They are supple/easy to grab the steering wheel or shopping bags. I snowshoe for winter exercise. In the teens they are adequate to begin with until I warm up. Then my hands sweat so I change to lighter gloves. The soft comfortable liners will stick to sweaty hands if taken off quickly. If I need more warmth Goretex mittens and liners can't be beat. For reference: I'm 78 years, have very long thin fingers that were frostbitten many times in my youth making my fingers difficult to keep warm. At the sale price these are a very good deal. I was not disappointed in the extra large sizing.

Nice gloves.
Warm and comfortable. Only complaint is the the lining moves around a little in the shell which slightly complicates putting them on.
