But we have gotten totally frustrated because shell fabric is so slippery that they slide right off the bed. All three of us have found ourselves on the floor in the middle of the night, a safety hazard that I never would have thought of.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cantusemyrealname from Using as a bed comforter I have been using LL Bean rectangular sleeping bags as bed comforters for many years now as I sleep cold. My last one was a flannel lined one. This fleece-lined bag is the best of all the ones I have used by far. It is the warmest, most comfortable, and loftiest out of all of them. It is a heavy bag and the outer shell is slippery. The insulation seems to be extremely stable, unlike my old flannel one which kind of slid around in the shell. It really is very warm and may be overkill for some but for me, the perfect bag
