Men's Water-Resistant Cresta Hiking Pants, Natural Fit is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 70.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light, very comfortable and rugged! I have 7 pairs of these pants. I travel the world from tropical Asia, the Himalayan countries, Mongolia, Europe to the Antarctic. I have found these pants the most comfortable, rugged and reliable. Lightweight, easy to wash & quick to dry. Repels stains, great pockets (cargo and others) for security and room for everything. My first pair, purchased about 10 years ago, are still perfectly functional--and they live hard wandering mountains, hot and humid climates as well as places like Tibet in mid-winter. I keep buying them, fearful that one of these days they will no longer be stocked (you know how that is!) and that'll be it. best I have ever known and I am always on the lookout for something better, but have yet to find it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but loud The pants fit great, not too tight in the legs and plenty of room to fit over boots or shoes. The pockets are great! Big enough for most phones and not too low on the legs where they would be flopping around when you walk. I returned these pants for one reason only, the noise. Because they are a water resistant material, they "swish" against themselves when you walk. While this would not be a big deal in the outdoors, I wanted to wear them in the office and it was a deal breaker for me. Not as loud as other water resistant pants, but still loud enough to be annoying. Honestly, I would love it if LL Bean made this exact same pair of pants with the same features and a cotton or blend material to quiet them down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed Big Bean fan here. I was looking for a new pair of hiking pants. I had my eye on these for a bit. I ordered online. They are too baggy in the leg. Wanted a more tapered look and feel. the biggest complaint I have is the waistband material. Most or all of my other active pants have a stretch material on the waist that moves with you. These stretch everywhere else but the waist band. I am so used to this feature I cant go back to normal at this point. I have 3 pairs of the Bean jeans. They flex. These pants could be so much better. Come on Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why are these out of stock? My first pair was an accident. I was in the store (Columbus, OH) and these were on sale in the lined version. Since I don't often find OTR clothing that fits and these did (though a 30 in inseam is slightly long), I bought them. I love them for golfing on early spring and late fall days when the lining really feels good. I have worn them when the temp was nearer 80 and was NOT uncomfortable.I also like the snap closure. I find that my fingers are having a hard time with buttons and hooks. I then bought an unlined pair in 29 in. inseam which fit perfectly and I'm now set for any weather on the course. I went to buy one more pair but they are out of stock everywhere. I'm hoping this is due to popularity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Natural Fit Huge! I have stocky muscular legs so I try to avoid trim fits. Not knowing what '"regular fit" is in an LLBean pant, I chose "natural fit" pants. They fit fine in the waist & length but the pant legs are quite a floppy volume, REALLY relaxed! Otherwise, I love the fabric weight and color. I'll keep the pants but order regular fit next time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cresta natural fit .. I have several of these cresta hiking pants , some with removable hiking zip off. I use them daily and also for hiking. I decided to give the new waterproof material & natural fit a try. The advantage of waterproof is less worry about rain while hiking. The cresta hiking pants that are not waterproof definitely can get soaked in a short time while during a rains storm. I have gotten soaked several times unprepared for a rain storm. Sometimes the weather changes so suddenly there is not enough time to open up the backpack and get the rain pants out. I have a pair of gore tex rain proof pants for those days with heavy rain forecast. I did test these pants and they are waterproof. They are fine for days with light rain. The natural fit has more room than the traditional cresta hiking pants. I find the pockets are also deeper, front & back pockets. The natural fit definitely has more room. I prefer clothing that is not tight & limits movement. These pants passed the test. For hiking I will definitely buy some extra pants for my next backpacking trip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great I'm writing this review for my husband - measurements here are his. Because he's a very tall and lean person, he has a hard time finding clothing that fits properly. These pants are great. The fit in the waist (and best with the help of a belt) and they are the tall 36" inseam is long enough -hallelujah! We bought two pairs and will likely purchase more. They are lightweight and quick drying but he wears them every day and loves them. Love that LLBean carries tall sizes and would love to see more options in longer lenghts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thank you for the natural fit Thank you for bringing the looser, natural fit to the Cresta Pant. I am not a fan of the trend to tight, uncomfortable clothing, and I appreciate you offering a choice of fits. The pants are soft, well wearing, and comfortable. Thank you again.
