Men's Water-Resistant Cresta Hiking Pants, Standard Fit is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 142.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are magic pants These are hands-down the best pants I've ever owned. Unlike a lot of synthetic fabric pants, these are actually breathable so whether you are hiking, traveling, or just working around the house you won't be sweating They also have just the right amount of stretch to them to make them a great choice for traveling. I drove across the country in these bad boys and was comfortable the entire time. In addition, I did some hiking in the rain and while my head and upper body were soaked, the water literally rolled off of these pants. If you have to wear pants while you're working from home, these would be a great choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for travel This is the second pair I purchased to use for travel. We travel to Europe and like to pack light. These pants are ideal: lightweight, durable, wind resistant and easy to wash and dry. I was amazed how cool they feel in warm weather yet very warm on cool windy days. I traveled with these Cresta pants all over Norway and felt comfortable the entire time. They pack so easily too just roll them up and take very little room in the suitcase. The zipper pockets are perfect for cell phone and passports. Leave the jeans at home and bring the Cresta pants instead!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and light weight I bought the Water Resistant Cresta Hiking Pants Standard Fit for casual wear around town, not for hiking or climbing. They're very lightweight, fit comfortably, and look great. If you've tried other nylon hiking pants, you know how some are "noisy" when you walk, like the nylon material is so stiff it makes a sound. Not these. The fabric is supple and quiet. The only thing I would change is to put a double keeper in the very back to help hold the belt. Since most other pants don't have that either, it's not a negative for this product, just my preference. I own several pairs now. Definitely money well spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice comfortable, water resistant hiking pants The Cresta water proof pants have a good fit, maybe a bit oversized in the waist (but I may be losing inches walking around in splendid isolation) but unlike several recent LL Bean pants, the pockets are actually good sized and useful! These were the non-zipoffs, and are good for temperatures up to 68-72 (though I run warm) and are truly water resistant - the Pacific Northwest in spring definitely allows one to test that. The lower legs are not as loose as older style hiking pants, but still have a roominess. They are a little looser than the stretch version ( but the stretch version has fewer and shallower pockets), but still a good fit and comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants I own a resort in northern MN and several other properties and purchased a pair of LL Bean hiking pants as an experiment last year. I am constantly on the move and complete numerous physical tasks every day, as well as hike between 6-8 miles each day. I was looking for pants that could stand up to serious physical demands, and serve as off the grid hiking pants. After wearing the pants for 3 days a week during winter, spring, and now fall, they still look new. Based on this performance, I decided to replace our work clothes/uniforms to LL Bean pants because of their comfort and durability. Additionally, they still look good when going out to eat or other social functions. Excellent pants!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hiking pants Plenty of pockets and the pants allow for a wide range of motion. The YKK zippers work well and I haven't had any problems. Usually I have issues with the legs not being large enough, my waist is 34" thighs 24" and calves come in at 16". These pants fit me perfectly. Met a friend at the Flagship store in Freeport and she wanted to hike through Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park afterwards. I found these pants at the Outlet Store and gave them one heck of a good workout, going through ice and mud along the trails. Also, had no issues scrambling over rocks along the coastline. Love these pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wish they were women's! I'm a short, mid-aged woman looking for decent-looking weekend pants that have a leg pocket big enough to zip in a cell phone. All the women's pants with leg pockets had tiny pockets that might hold a key or folded money, but not a cell phone, so I settled for men's style. The pants are a bit too baggy for my style, but I really just bought the nice pocket on a pair of presentable pants. Wish LL Bean would make women's clothes that are as usable as men's!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice I like LL’s Cresta products. I own a lot of the shorts. These are the first long’s. They are nice. My wife even likes the longs. Which she usually does not on my clothing choices. I guess I need to bring her in to the decision making process. Anyhow, very happy with these pants. Hopefully they do not succumb to the plague of the Cresta. The closing waist snaps disintegrate over time. LL should get the manufacturer to start making them with a button and hole. However LL has been pretty good if I send them back for replacement, even after I’ve had them a couple of years.
