Men's Airlight Knit Pullover is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 227.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic pullover I ordered this last year and have worn it thru snow storms, rain, walks in the woods in spring and fall and as an underlayer on very cold days. This is my go to shirt. I love the pockets too. It has such a wide comfort range because of its design, it beats anything else I have of comparable thickness . Unfortunately I may be selling some of my sweaters cause this replaces most of them. I do recommend this pullover. I also have a hoodie of the same material and the two together are good for moderate work on days when temps are down to 10F and lower. It was cool on days -10F but tolerable for 40 min. Can't say enuf good about this stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft, Lightweight and Durable I purchased the orange and loved it so much I ordered the blue as well. The material is soft, lightweight, durable and great-looking. Although I purchased the item primarily for backpacking and hiking when temperatures are in-between cold and hot it can be worn with a base layer and jacket for colder temperatures as well. It's also great for everyday casual use over a t-shirt. The chest and shoulders are roomy enough that a long-sleeve t-shirt or base layer can be worn underneath without bunching. It performed beautifully on a rugged mountain hike with temperatures in the 50's and 60's and kept me comfortable and dry. The material did not wrinkle or seem to suffer abrasion from my backpack straps. I highly recommend this versatile item.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from baggy, even if "slightly fitted" The "slightly fitted" style is described as tapering a bit towards the waist. If I lay out the pullover onto a flat surface it actually bulges out as you move down the torso. I don't see how that could correspond to "slightly fitted." A slim version doesn't seem to be available. But I am used to clothes not fitting in this fashion. I'm slim and athletic, and the most standard US sizes are made for heavier builds, a bit of a stomach bulge, etc. I'm nearly always disappointed when buying something in the US - the European products fit much better. It's telling that the sizes go from S too XXL and S is not particularly small.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sleeves are an issue. I have several LLBean shirts and jackets. All are size large and fit well. Ordered this pullover via catalog. Comfortable and fit well except for sleeves - which are far too long (extend to fingertips). Further, elastic in cuffs insufficiently “elastic” to prevent sleeves from slipping over wrist. Visited LLBean store to try on some other sizes. None fit body as well as size L, and all had same issues with sleeves - way too long and insufficient elasticity in the cuffs. Returned my order.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bean is going too much for slightly fitted I am a longtime fan of Bean products and in the past always found the sizing true to fit. In the past couple of years I am noticing more qualifiers of "slightly fitted". I'm on the average size and am finding clothing too tight for comfort. Have returned several items over the past two years because of the fit being too tight for true comfort. My impression during numerous travels is mature guys are probably the largest customers of Bean clothing items and question this move to fitted clothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Feels great, fit is off I normally have no issues with slightly fitted at LL Bean but as people have mentioned the waist is loose and the chest is just a fraction on the tight the chest it’s where the seam goes around the whole body’s not exactly tight as it doesn’t give as much right along that seam I guess is more appropriate. The seam goes all around the chest and I guess the doubling of the material there just makes stretch less than the rest of the shirt making it feel tighter. This makes the waist feel looser when in fact it isn’t actually looser. But man the material in this is amazingly soft, warm, and still breathable. They need to do something about the chest seam makes the back feel tight too. Fix that and I’ll end up buying this in every color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hiking Layer I bought one of these for my husband, and one for myself (ladies MED; 5'5, 125lbs). They fit great, with plenty of room for layers. We went on a 10hr hike up some mountains wearing these, starting out at 6:50am/25degrees, and they worked great at helping to keep our cores warm. Though warm, they were also lightweight enough to stuff into packs as we heated up, and we even donned them back at the campsite in the evening when it was a balmy 50 degrees. I couldn't recommend these more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from addtional info I have already reviewed this pull over but recently discovered another benefit that I would like to add. The ribbed design is great for frustrating mosquitoes in the deep forest since the fabric does not touch the skin as much. i.e. It makes it harder for them to find a place to bite. Not a purposeful thing the designers did but it works. Anything that frustrates mosquitoes is a great thing to me.
