Rated 5 out of 5 by Bec215 from Wonderful, warm, and works with arthritis My mom has very cold hands due to circulation issues, and bad rheumatoid arthritis that makes her hands hurt and her grip strength weak. We've struggled to find warm gloves that she can pull on herself - specifically, getting the second hand on once she's gotten the first one on (she often uses her teeth to help her pull it on, but it's still a struggle) - and that have good grip so she can drive in them. Over the last few years, I've bought (and returned) a half dozen pairs. In Bean the other day, I saw these and thought maybe mittens would work better - but I wasn't sure these would be warm enough. These are WONDERFUL! FINALLY her hands are WARM, she can get them on herself (without having to use her teeth LOL), and she can drive in them. SO happy with these, I'm buying a pair for myself. SIZING: Size-wise, they're true to size, but I do think these are a bit 'short' so if you have long fingers, they might not work for you... but considering 99% of gloves and mittens have fingers too long for us petite gals, I don't consider this a flaw ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by doitallmom from Great mittens I bought these mittens (and matching hat) for a trek to Everest Base Camp...both mittens and hat kept me super warm! It was cold and windy, and I had no issues...hiking they got sweaty and they dried easily even in the cold. I used the LLBean glove liners also, and just mittens when warm. Love this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hermmm from womens fleece mittens They looked nice. But when you go to put them on, the elastic in the wrist was entirely too small for a large mitten, muchless for a woman with extremely tiny wrists and arms like I have.

Rated 1 out of 5 by HeyJudeOregon from No No No A few issues that make these mittens the type you would expect to purchase from a bargain store, not LL Bean. First issue is sizing; I used the specific chart and they were way too big, big enough in fact to completely spread my fingers apart and then some. Second issue is design: Yes, so soft inside EXCEPT the annoying gathered scratchy uncovered elastic cuffs that are tight and uncomfortable. Considering they are sized, they could easily have not used elastic at all and made the wrist opening with the same comfortable material, commensurate with each size, as other high quality gloves are. Disappointing waste of money as not worth the cost of returning. Into the donation bin they go.
