Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack I bought this to carry my daily items I need at work as I park 3 blocks away from my office. Initially, I was concerned this pack would fit me kind of short because I am 6'4". But I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and it fits me quite well. I really enjoy the front flap pocket it allows me to pack my note pads (standard letter size pads) and it is easily accessible without having to rummage through the main zipper pocket. Overall quality of the pack is great for what I use it for. I probably would not use it in the back country when I am hunting or hiking for extended days, but it is just a day pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Just used this pack for the first time to go on a cruise. It was the perfect size for an under the seat carry on flying there and perfect to put my essentials in for our excursions. We were cought in a crazy downpour one day and when I got back to the room, I was shocked that nothing inside the pack was wet, because we were soaked! The water bottle pockets have adjustable straps to hold the bottle securely. My last pack constantly was loosing bottles on the plane. Love this pack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go to day pack At 25 liters, holds everything needed for long day hikes. Overall nice ventilation and padding. Pros: Waist belt super comfy with 2 x Lycra pockets great for quick snack storage. One pocket fits 3 snacks and small knife. 2 x Lycra stretch side pockets for water bottles (easily fits 1 Liter) Great organization: 1 Main Compartment, Small front vertical pocket, small interior pocket, exterior Felt Lined Pocket, easy access dump pouch. Sternum strap that stretches as you move and can adjustable height. Hydration Port and pocket for bladder - wish was a little deeper for longer bladder, Holds 3 liter. Strap holders for every strap except sternum strap - Cons: Only 1 Loop and Shock cord, it does hold 2 x hiking poles, but wish had 2 to balance load. Also would work for ice axe. Can not adjust shoulder strap height in relation to pack, but at 5'9 fits great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Camelbak pouch too small I was looking for a day pack with a waist strap and bought this backpack. It's definitely fine for that part. The issue the is poorly designed camelbak pouch. It doesn't go down to the bottom of the backpack so it cannot hold 3L camelbaks. I don't understand why they didn't design the pouch to just go to the bottom, because then it would fit. Basically, if you drink a lot of water on hikes and use a 3L camelbak, DON'T get this backpack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First day pack This was my first hiking day pack purchase. It was great to have the product specialist at llbean as a resource in helping me find the best pack for my situation. I spent some time just getting to know this pack and making adjustments to the straps, there are a lot of technical features. My first impression is that this bag is high quality and looks like it will be comfortable. The platinum color is a good neutral color. I look forward to my first use this weekend and will post again with updates after some hikes.
