Women's Fleece-Lined Flannel Shirt, Snap-Front Plaid is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 331.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I am 5'9, 155 lbs. I love this shirt better than the older version of Women's Fleece-Lined Flannel Shirt- which is a button front with one chest pocket. (I have 3 of those) Why is it better? It has has side pockets!! The men's version of this shirt has had pockets for years. Finally they made a ladies version too. The pockets aren't on-seam, which is a great thing -which makes it better than the men's version. There are only 2 cons. (1) There needs to be a better color selection. (2) The outer layer isn't actually flannel, it's just a plaid shirt. Make the outer shirt flannel and you'll have the perfect shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Old style vs new style I purchased 2 of the equivalent item many years ago and loved, loved, loved them. I've worn them so much that they were frayed and stained and needed to be replaced. Enter the purchase of the new style. I love the snaps instead of buttons, I like the side pockets. However, they shortened the length by a couple of inches or so and I miss those inches and the new style is, therefore, not as flattering on me. Haven't decided if I will add another color to my wardrobe or wait and hope that the longer length shirt becomes available later on. This new style looks more like a short jacket as opposed to a shirt. I'm really hoping the additional length comes back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where's the flannel? The old LL Bean signature "flannel", was thick and durable, lasting a lifetime. This so-called flannel is, well, not flannel! Putting a plaid pattern on a shirt doesn't make it flannel... It's also boxy and frumpy, and not worth $79. I'm giving it 2 stars only because it's super soft and comfortable, but the description is misleading. I'm a Mainer and loyal Bean shopper my whole life and quality on several clothing items seems to be going down down downnnn. Please, LL Bean, stop skimping on quality and bring back a fleece lined REAL FLANNEL shirt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WONDERFUL SHIRT This is one of my favorite shirts. The quality is excellent and the fit is great. I wear it with a henley underneath...so comfortable, roomy and warm. I'm reviewing several products I recently ordered, because I rely on these reviews to help me decide if I want to purchase. Sometimes the reviews are just crazy, especially when it comes to size. Some people don't seem to realize that we're all shaped differently, and just because something doesn't fit one person, that doesn't mean that the product is not good. I love LLBean. Everything is such high quality, and no one can beat their flannel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Comfy! I have to say that the Fleece-Lined Flannel is my absolute favorite purchase from LLBEAN! I own 5 different plaids, as I try to get a new one every season. I love the fleece inside on a cool day, and often wear it as a jacket over a lightweight T-shirt in Spring and Fall. For this reason, I sized up and got a large. If you don’t plan to layer, it runs true to size. The sleeves are the perfect length, and the body has a feminine cut. The snaps and pockets are a great update to this year’s version! The flannel becomes softer every time you wash it. I’ve received many compliments on this shirt. Just buy one, you won’t regret it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, but not as good as the men's version I ordered a couple of the men's version of this for myself and my wife liked to borrow them. I figured I could order her a couple of the women's versions for her to wear so I could use mine. (Tongue in cheek here, FYI.) The female version seems to be much thinner/lighter than the men's version and doesn't hang as low. Also, it uses snaps instead of buttons. In my experience, buttons last longer and don't damage the fabric when they go bad. I'd rather have buttons. If you want something cute and aren't inclined to be chilled, this should be fine for you. If you want something really warm, I'd consider ordering the men's version.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I purchased Misses XS. I'm 5'2, 108#. It fits ok. But this is NOT flannel. The tag says 100% cotton but it feels more like a very thin, silky twill. The fleece is also very thin and the side pockets are not lined, just the thin cotton, which could wear through quickly. My husband has the men's version & it is definitely flannel with a thicker fleece & the side pockets are lined with a nice stretchy fabric that is warm & substantial. Too bad the women's version wasn't made the same way. This one is going back.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Other reviews were spot on Several other reviews pointed out that this isn’t a flannel shirt and they were absolutely right: there isn’t a stitch of flannel to be found on this so-called flannel shirt. The fleece is okay but the thin cotton (not flannel) outer layer is flimsy, and doesn’t have the same heft as the fleece. This makes the shirt look rumpled and shapeless, like the cotton can’t hold the insulating material in place. That was disappointing, but also the color is much more drab in person than I thought it would be. Like, I seriously had to double check to see if I received the actual color I ordered. Not nice enough to wear out, and not sturdy enough to even handle yard work, I’m afraid the only category this shirt truly fits is “dud”.
