Men's Snow Sneakers, Mid Hook-and-Loop is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 148.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Changes This is my second pair of the LLBean Snow Sneakers with the velcro loops. LLBean has clearly made some model changes for the worse. The overall quality is very poor. The velcro loop mechanism is not well designed making the boots much more difficult to put on and take off. After only two or three months of moderate use, the tread on the bottom of the boot is showing excessive wear. The tread was a poor design for snow in the first place. I would not recommend the purchase of these boots for any use whatsoever. This is the only product which I’ve ever purchased from LLBean with which I’ve been disappointed (and I have purchased many).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Construction My husband has worn these shoes for years and they have worn well and fit properly - until the last purchase. They looked different when they came out of the box. You could tell immediately they were not the same quality of shoe as all those before. I guess someone decided to redesign a good thing and make it a very inferior product. They have never fit properly and now they are falling apart. I just looked at the purchase date and it was 1-12-19, less than a year old. In looking at other reviews, I saw several comments with the same things I have mentioned. Please go back to the prior design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, warm, light and waterproof! I searched for a long time for a pair winter boots that's light, warm, waterproof and comfortable for extended walking. I'm so glad I found this one! I wore them on a recent ski trip, walking through snow and slush every day, and my feet were toasty and completely dry. My feet are a little wide, and I wore these sneakers with medium ski socks, and they fit just fine. Initially the tongues dug into my ankles a little bit. After adjusting the straps and breaking them in for a couple of days, the discomfort was gone. They are super light with very good support, and they really do feel a lot more like sneakers rather than boots. I highly recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Shoes Ever! I bought these shoes for my husband last year. He has limited mobility and dexterity due to severe arthritis and needed sturdy, all-purpose footwear. These boots are easy for him to put on and provide excellent support and traction in all settings. They have proven to be durable and after a year of constant wear (yes, he wore them all summer, too, because they are his favorite shoes) they still look almost as good as new. The fasteners are easier to use than laces and have held up well to repeated use. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. They look nice and blend in well with almost all types of clothing and settings. I'm planning on buying him another pair this year, not because the others are worn out--they are not, but so that he has more wardrobe options.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing fit My husband bought a pair of these Bean snow sneakers seven years ago. He loved them and they fit his wide foot perfectly. Unfortunately, our dog recently chewed off one of the Velcro straps, making it impossible to close them, so I ordered another pair. What a difference seven years makes. Although the shoe itself appears well made, the fit was nothing like the original snow sneakers. The ankle portion was so narrow and tight that my husband could barely get his foot into the shoe. It's like they were made for someone with stick legs. We ended up returning them. So many products are made overseas now and the fit just isn't the same. So disappointing. I guess he'll have to figure out a way to continue wearing his old strapless snow sneakers. At least they're comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from extremely disappointed I am extremely disappointed in this product. I have loved LL Bean Snow Sneakers for many years (and several versions). The excellent pair I purchased in 2015 (and wear all winter) is finally starting to show signs of wear, so I purchased these. Compared to the 2015 product these boots are really an inferior product. My feet have not changed in size since then, but the 14 Wide in this current Snow Sneaker is both too short and too narrow. Also, there is very little insulation (essentially none on the sides) So I am sadly returning the boots, unworn.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wanted to love them Have prior high top velcro ones, which are still quite good, and a low top lace-up in nice Storm Cloud color with the wider toe area. So I wanted to try this newer pair also with wider toes -- that part was nice, and overall if you get the right fit these are great for winter -- warm without sweating, never cold feet, OK for short grocery store forays. But this new pair has a higher arch that hurts my left foot, and for some reason the velcro straps don't cinch easily; catching on the plastic guides. Also velcro on top straps is too short to create a firm connection when wearing the top of tongue a bit loose (which I do when one or both chins are chafed or bruised). The old black pair still works better, albeit with tighter toes -- returning this new pair.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disapointing Bought these to replace my old Snow Sneaker IIs which were fantastic except they are too small to wear with heavy socks or two when sitting still at winter hockey games. They are disappointing, not near the quality of old Snow Sneaker IIs; the straps just barely reach, the sizing (length) is way off, and the shoe tread will suck in the snow. Fortunately, I do not need to walk far. They do seem to be quite warm though and comfortable with two pairs of heavy socks, and the only reasons I will keep them.
