Infants' and Toddlers' Mountain Bound Reversible Jacket is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice jacket but lacking compared to prior years I love LL Bean and their products. I am happy to pay a higher price for the exceptional quality that I associate the company with and love that much of it is USA made. My toddlers both had this coat in prior years and unfortunately when I ordered it the second time for my 2 1/2 year old, the quality and warmth seems to be inferior compared to the prior years. I still think it could be a good coat if it's what you're looking for. Lightweight and good for carseats but I returned it because I couldn't get over the seeming lesser quality from the last one I bought two seasons ago.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Agree with other reviewers. Just bought this for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. Today was rather raw and windy, 41 degrees but felt colder. As we walked from the mall to the car she said she was cold. This was the second day she wore her new jacket. When I got home to her house I hung her jacket next to her jacket I had bought her last year from LL Bean and was very surprised to find how thin this jacket is compared to the original jacket. Her last year Bean jacket is much thicker. In comparison the weight of the new jacket feels like a spring or fall jacket! Surprised Ll Bean would sell this jacket as a winter coat! No way is this going to keep her warm when it starts getting to be 10 and 20 degrees! This will be returned. So really disappointed!!!! And such a cute jacket too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I got this coat last year along with the Parka for my two-year-old to mix up in-between days and WE (Wife, son and I) LOVE IT!! It's light enough to wear in moderate 30-40 degrees day and good enough for the 20's (probably can be good for temperatures in the teen with base layer underneath. My son wore this jacket in weather as cold at 18 degrees and as "warm" as 45 degrees--and it was great for both. Fits perfect with a car seat as well. I just purchased another parka and will be purchasing this mountain jacket in the coming days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great All-Around Winter Jacket This jacket exceeded my expectations. So far it has proven to keep my toddler warm enough even in mid-20 degree weather, yet it is thin enough to be worn in the car seat with the straps tightly fastened. My toddler has had no complaints, though he initially said the fleece part was “too soft” (is there such a thing?). He is very active and it does not make him feel restricted. There is a reflective logo on the bottom back, which is a nice feature given the short winter days. It does seem to run a little large, but not enough to warrant sizing down. This is my new go-to winter jacket for my kids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for mild weather and car seats I’ve been trying to find the holy grail of jackets that would be car seat safe and warm enough for outdoor winter/snow play. This isn’t it. It definitely seems good for the car seat, but it isn’t insulated so it won’t be warm for true cold weather, if that’s what you’re looking for. That said, it seems like a well-made jacket that will get the job done for fall and spring. I believe LLBean makes a similar jacket that’s insulated, but the colors are very limited and my finicky toddler insists on blue...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice quality, wish it was warmer I bought a similar coat for my son last year, and thought this was going to be the same. It is however, a lighter layer - it will not be warm enough for cold new england days, but more for the fall/spring. It fits well, and seems to be good quality so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coat I bought this coat for my 14 month old for our winters in upstate NY. She loves it, the sleeves are a bit long, but I would rather that than too short. The coat is lightweight, but keeps her warm. I love it!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is a cute little coat for my 18 month old, but I'm extremely disappointed in the quality. When I first got it in the mail, it smelled very strongly of a paint-like chemical smell. I emailed LL Bean, and they told me to air it out. Now, approximately one month after ordering, the lining has already ripped. Overall, the quality of this jacket is just not there. It's pretty thin with no fill between the fleece layer and the outer layer. I originally wanted the 3-in-1 Storm Chaser, but the smallest size (2T) was far too large for my daughter. It's definitely more of a fall jacket, and with winter already here and snow on the ground, I'm not sure how much use we'll get from this. I'll have to go looking elsewhere.
