Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me Love the jacket! I was a little concerned about wrinkling having read earlier reviews. I washed the jacket before wear as recommended, ironed it, and was very happy with the result. It has a casual, worn in look which I like. The taupe color is an olivey-gray-taupe, goes with a lot of things. Great quality. Fit is perfect with room for a light sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the style and fabric. I’m usually a size medium, but the size small was a more tailored fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks ok on me but not well made I will probably keep this jacket because it comes closer to meeting my needs for a summer-weight jacket than anything else I've been able to find. But it's still a disappointment to see how low LL Bean's quality standards have fallen. Pros: the blue color is perfect for me - very flattering and dresses up the jacket *almost* to office casual level. Also, the jacket is a bit longer than most, and I'll take every extra inch I can get. Cons: the fabric is super thin and feels a bit scratchy, perhaps due to its unnecessary synthetic/stretch component. An all-cotton fabric would have been much nicer to the touch. Also, as others have mentioned, the cloth is super wrinkly. If I keep this jacket, I'll have to make my peace with that and pretend it's a style. And finally, the corners of the pockets have been reinforced on the insides of the jacket with disks of some dark synthetic material. Most have been caught at weird angles in nearby seams, so they're twisted or folded over (see photo). I've been wearing Bean garments since the 1970s, and in decades past they never would have sold something so poorly finished. Bottom line: I'm glad I bought it on sale, and I may keep it...but it could have been so much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect jacket I had been looking for an olive jacket to wear as a casual light weight piece for spring/falll-summer nights. This jacket is THE BEST! Love absolutely everything about it. I was on the fence about a M or a L-am glad I chose the M. I usually have problems with the hip area being too tight on a M-but this was no problem at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right amount of weight I walk my dogs every day and wanted a lightweight, stylish jacket with lots of pockets and enough length to look good over leggings, if you know what I mean. This jacket is perfect, well made, crisp fabric, and I love the collar. I feel like I'm dressed up the minute the minute I put it on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dark taupe is really green. The dark taupe is really a dark olive green. It would go with lots of other colors as it's pretty neutral. The fabric is pretty stiff, but since you have to wash it before wearing (per tag and my normal habit with new clothes), I'm hoping that it will soften considerably. I like the cargo pockets to protect items, but they also have side pockets. A very light sweater could be worn underneath comfortably. The sleeve length is good and I like that they are adjustable with two buttons rather than just one. This is a comfortable, light weight, and very casual jacket. I would recommend to a friend only at the sale price.
