Women's Stretch Ripstop Pull-On Pants is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 401.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but..... I really liked these when I received them- I tried them on, they fit great, so I washed them before wearing. They were wrinkled after washing, but acceptable for the type of pants they are. The fit was the same after washing/drying per instructions. But, after wearing them for a couple hours, they "grew"! They were now very baggy and sloppy looking in the thigh and butt area. They looked like they were a couple sizes too large. After a discussion with a very pleasant customer service rep, I will be sending these back and exchanging for a smaller size. Great customer service, but be aware that these pants "grow" with use!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Favorite Fit" is NOT my favorite. These pants are perfect in every way, EXCEPT they feel as tho they're about to fall off. They've got a very comfy wide elasticized waistband and are as advertised in LLBean's 'Favorite Fit". It's annoying that LLBean appears to favor this waist style, when if they simply added an inch or two of height, they would fit most women's natural waist. I can only attribute this to LLBeans's desire to appeal to its younger customers' tastes. I knew this when I ordered them, read the reviews (much complaining similar to mine), and yet, I still ordered them, because they otherwise were just what I was looking for. However...they're going back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Size it big Here's how to live with these pants. Buy them one size too big. Then, they will fit more like a classic rise, and you can tighten the drawstring and (because the rear rise is ridiculous) you won't get the dreaded plumber's you-know-what. If you don't, the lack of fabric in the seat will make them bind on your thighs when you squat or sit. The fabric is good-- it's the best thing about these pants. They are cool and serviceable. Your cell phone will NOT fit in the cargo pocket on the leg. LL. Bean-- move it up a couple of inches and make it deeper. Don't you have cell phones, too? Why do we have to tell you this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new "uniform"! Where have these been every summer of my life? I am older, a caregiver, retired teacher, and a gardener, and I no longer care to show my short heavy legs. But the heat has been a problem. I am pear-shaped, so what others describe as baggy, apparently fits my shape perfectly. I can roll up the bottom a bit to clear my runners, but figure they may shrink a bit as summer wears on. I am covered, cool and protected for my Texas summers. I have ordered 2 more pairs to get me through the summer. Oh, and I LOVE the pockets - were these designed by a woman, perchance? I can carry my phone safely in the lower pocket. Thank you, LL Bean, for coming through for this long time customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable! I am 5' 3" and weigh 112 pounds. i ordered a size XS. They are a little long but I cuffed them and they are fine. In any case, I would rather have them a litte long. I love the slim lower leg. It's a great look. They are comfortable and I like the fact that it has a drawstring because I don't want to bother with a belt. I am 66 years old and comfort is my main objective when buying clothes. These pants are a great find and I like the way they fit. I plan to take them traveling with me in the near future. Would definitely buy more since they are also easy to care for and require no ironing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love These! OMG, I love, love, love these pants. After purchasing one pair I immediately bought two more. They are just about the most comfortable pants I have worn. I love the side leg pocket. It fots my little travel wallet perfectly when I don't want to carry a purse. The regular pockets are deel and at a comfortable placement on the garment. I would like to make a mention of size. Although I am 5' 5" and 135, and given this the medium would probably be the right fit, I got the large because I have very wide hips and muscular thighs. I did not think the medium would fit as well for my build. I trust that these pants fit to size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New fav. Thankfully, I found these pants as a replacement to the sun washed canvas pants that now have a leg opening 2” bigger than those of a few years ago. These rip stop pants are very nicely tapered at the ankle, give me plenty of room and have the string tie waist, that I like. They do have a bit of spandex and make a swishy, crinkly sound, but it’s minor and they are my new favorite, everyday, go-with-everything, walking, shopping, cleaning etc. pants. Lightweight and may not be quite as breatheable as the sun washed canvas or denim pull on pants, but won’t be able to know until FL summer returns. Not heavy enough for outdoors in winter. Would buy again for sure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rise Issue I ordered Petite XS. I am 5'2 and 115 lbs. The fabric and the taupe color were good. The length, hips and waist were just right, but the rise was way too short. I returned them to the store, but tried on other sizes. In order to get a more comfortable rise, I would have to get a Regular XS (inseam too long) or a Petite S (too big in the waist and hips). I suggest that before you order these pants, that you call customer service and find out the rise and finished dimensions for your size and compare those measurements to a pair of similar pants that fit you well.
