Women's L.L.Bean Midweight Crew Base Layer, Long Sleeve is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shirt, but warning! I have no complaints about the shirt itself, just wanted to warn folks about the dye used in it. I got the burgundy color, which has almost a dark rust-like tinge to it (not very pretty, but that's besides the point). I washed it in the sink and I had to wash it FIVE times before it finally stopped bleeding, more or less. You will want to do the same. And I would not wear anything white under it, just in case!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm I have always loved LL Bean. I'm a regular customer so I know medium usually fits me. Live in MD suburbs from DC. I am one of those always cold people. The midweight layer is too warm if your wearing in 40゚ weather, it's really good when we had snow with 28 to 30゚ weather. I work in a doctor's office where it is always cold. Texture is different not as soft but no problem for me and it's for the warmth. If you have texture issues with clothes you might not like it. It fits really well under scrubs, It is snug but not tight. That's why I kept warm in cold weather under scrubs. The light weight layer is very silky smooth and warm for 40 degree weather. Quality is always top notch I never put it in the dryer though just to keep its quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this top! My husband bought this (and the matching leggings) for me for Christmas ... they are wonderful! Both the top and leggings fit perfectly. I'm 52 years old and tend to get over-heated easily but these pieces keep me cozy and comfy without getting heated up. I really appreciate the thumb hole - so easy to pull something on over the base top. Easy to care for in the laundry and they hold their shape. I just wish there were more colors available - I would buy them all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm -definitely recommend I highly recommend this shirt for anyone who wants to stay warm. It was a tad bigger than I expected for a petite large but not too much. I definitely would not have ordered a size down. It feels a bit scratchy and rough each time I first put it on, even after washing, but I immediately stop noticing it when I wear it. My skin is sensitive to scratchy material so for me to stop noticing it means it’s not bad at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rides up and doesn’t keep you warm Bought this since LL Bean didn’t have any Powerdry Stretch Midweight Base Layer Long Sleeve Crew in my size this season. This base layer has a yucky fabric texture. It rides up and you just feel cold in it. The powder dry base layer I bought last season is fabulous wish they had the Powderdry version again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than sliced bread!!! I decided to buy the Petite Large and I'm glad I did. I bought the top and bottom of this product and they fit me perfectly!! We have had a long spell of cold weather in NW Florida, and now that I have another dog that enjoys her walks, morning or night, I didn't want to be bloody cold! Now I have an extra layer that keeps me nice and toasty. I haven't washed these products yet (it's been too cold to take them off!!) but I will follow laundering instructions and don't expect to have a problem. They're Bean, after all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Base layer top I really like this top. The fabric has a beautiful texture. It’s soft, and fits perfect. It’s just right on a cold day alone or under a shirt or jacket. I think these shirts are very stylish and so does my husband. I would love to see the tops in colors other than black and wine, like maybe grey, ivory, pink, etc.?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the Same I have ordered several of these medium base layer tops before and LOVED them. These are not the same quality or fit. These seem lighter and true to size--in other words, somewhat smaller in fit. The material seems different, lighter and less substantial to me as well. I would NOT order these newer ones again.
