Men's Maine Guide Wool Pant, Malone Plaid is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from great fit The fit was excellent and the expandable waist was a welcome surprise, as it can accommodate a heavy field shirt or fleece when needed. The fabric is also heavy and tough for bushwhacking in a variety of conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing No where in the description does this say that it is the same comfort waist as their jeans! But they are! I love them! Please keep these for a long time. I will totally be buying more!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from comfort waist? I bought these pants assuming they were the same Maine Guide Wool pants I have had for several years. They are not, it is not in the product description that these pants are a comfort waistband, not a solid durable waistband. I was disappointed to see this upon opening the package and will be returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from For me, it's perfect I've been skiing for over 30 years, I'm 74. When I started, I found that traditional ski pants were too warm. In the cold, I prefer to be cool, not warm or hot. So, I bought a pair of Maine guide pants with a tightly knit wool. With long johns they were perfect. I've skied with them in Breckenridge, Steam Boat, Park City, Stowe Sugarloaf not worrying about being fashionable. In fact I've often been stopped to ask me where I got my ski pants. They are water proof, warm but breathable. The only downside is that skiing out west....the powder sticks to the wool, so I might look like a yeti. Durable? I've worn the same pants for over 30 years. I lost weight and needed a smaller size. The new ones are just as comfortable. BUT, I do not like the elastic waist, but I'll get used to it. The elastic waist is the only reason I gave it a 4 star. I'm old and don't like change.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok Purchased these pants a couple weeks ago. They fit well. I purchased the lined pants like this last year and was very happy. I say the are only ok because they already have a small rip I n the leg. I’m not really sure how it happened but I wear them when I’m hunting in cold weather. Pretty disappointed that they already ripped, the other pair of lined ones I purchased last year are still holding up great.
