Women's Textured Cotton Sweater, Long-Sleeve is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 215.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size Varies with Color My first of this lightweight cotton sweater was the Soft Coral Stripe, PETITE LARGE and it fits wonderfully. Second one was Pool Blue, PETITE LARGE, too small, returned it. This third one, Garnet Rose Heather, PETITE LARGE, fits just right. I also ordered a PETITE XL, just in case the LARGE did not fit. It was larger and longer, slightly sloppy looking, so it will go back while I keep and enjoy the PETITE LARGE. The Garnet Rose Heather is to my eye a soft sweet version of Watermelon, not too bright but pretty enough to make me think that Spring will actually come, Covid will pass, and I will be ready with these light, Springtime sweaters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great and comfortable too!!!!! Shocked how much I liked this sweater when it arrived! It is light weight for Spring and Summer and with a shirt under it, it will work even longer. I bought my regular size for "slightly fitted" but I recommend you size down a size...very large! The smaller size still gives the roomy, casual and comfy feel. I tried it with jeans, light summer pants & a pair of slightly dressier pants and I loved it with all of them....that being said..it really is a casual/comfortable look sweater...not a dress up. I do wish they had offered more colors but maybe they will later. HINT?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Material "Pills" When this sweater arrived, I thought it was very pretty, but came out of the wash "pilled" even though I washed it inside out and on cold as recommended. I cannot get the pills off so the sweater looks shabby. I like the fit, it is a little baggy, but that gives it a comfortable look which I guess goes with the pills. It shrunk a little in length. I will keep the sweater as an "around the house sweater", but feel the price I paid is a bit high for something I will not wear to work. I really wanted to like this more, but cannot give it a good recommendation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer Sweater I bought 2 of these Textured Cotton Sweaters one in the Coral Heather color and one in Reef Teal Heather. Both sweaters are beautiful and the weight of the knit is perfect for spring, summer and early fall. The fit is a little bit tricky. I can wear a Petite Small or a Misses Extra Small. The Petite Small was a little baggy but the fit on my short waisted frame was good. I kept it because of any possible shrinkage after I launder it. I also bought one in the Misses Extra Small size and that fit is better but slightly smaller. Both look nice. I love the sweater and will enjoy wearing them when I travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great in Winter Too! This is advertised as a summer sweater, but I prefer wearing it in winter with other layers (and I live in New England!) Because of the open neckline, I think it looks great over a cowlneck or turtleneck shirt and the two layers keep me warm. I also like how it looks under a vest and because it is lightweight, it even works well under an open cardigan or an unbuttoned flannel shirt. It is so comfortable and versatile, love the longer length and the flattering (for me, anyway) looser fit, it's become my favorite sweater of all time and I bought several colors!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incredible shrinking sweater This sounded like perfect summer sweater - wanted in white, and pretty much any other color - EVERY other color but gray sold out, before even had a chance to purchase & before catalog arrived advertising it - Ordered gray, and so disappointed - it SHRUNK like about half it's size !! - wish I had seen the reviews experiencing the same shrinking problem! At the same time, I bought 3 shirts (linen tunic) t - all too big for the size they were supposed to be, and 2 (same) sweaters that were too small for size they were supposed to be - I'm a LONG TIME LL Bean customer who lately has found the sizing to be all over the place - shirts in size L running too big, sweaters in size L running too small - please get back on track LL Bean with sizing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buying a Back Up I bought the Striped version, loved it, then bought a Garnet Rose, and I love it too. I get many compliments on the soft watermelon color. I felt that after wearing the sweater a couple times, it stretched out a bit and rather than just loose, it was sloppy. Washed and DRIED it, and yes, it did shrink some, almost too much for my personal taste. So, I am ordering another on the 2-Day Sale and this time I will not put it in the dryer. The now smaller version will still work (for me) with a jacket or light open shirt. Some say it doesn't shrink, others like me say it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It I love the blue color, it's really pretty. It's a nice sweater but it seemed a little thin when I first got it. I was expecting a slightly heavier weight for some reason. It was just a tad big for me because it was a "misses" size. I wished it was offered it "petite". However I threw it in the dryer on low heat with the rest of my clothes by accident and it shrunk just a little. Now it fist me perfect. It also seemed to make the fabric a little denser. I've washed it a second time and of course laid it flat to dry. I'll be curious to see if it remains the "shrunken size" or not. I liked it enough to order a second one in Loden Green.
