Women's Waterproof PrimaLoft Packaway Jacket is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 222.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof Jacket I purchased this jacket for my upcoming trip to England. One of the things I like about this jacket is that it doesn't look like a raincoat. I will be able to wear it on the entire trip whether it rains or not. With a sweatshirt or sweater underneath, the jacket is warm. I have worn it walking my dog and it keeps me quite comfortable. I purchased the Blue color in Petite S. I am 5 ft. 3 and it fits perfectly. The hood is adjustable to make it a tighter fit. The only negative I have to say about it is the price. It is pricey. The jacket is very nice and I expect to wear it for a long time, but I delayed purchasing it because of the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth it! I combed the internet for precisely the jacket I needed, and while this one was pricier than I'd hoped, it fit my needs exactly. It feels cozy before I even put it on, and keeps me warm and dry on dog walks and errands (I haven't worn it on very cold days, but it's roomy enough so I can wear a heavier sweater underneath). Perfect length -- and the unzipped back vents give it a nice flare. I like that it has only a simple zipper -- no flap over unnecessary snaps. Now if only Bean's would stop plastering their label on prominent places on their clothing. I paid enough for this jacket -- they should pay ME for advertising it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Truly Waterproof I purchased this jacket for a trip to Europe and was very happy that I did. On day one it rained on and off throughout the day. The jacket kept me dry each and every time the skies opened up. It was very light and comfortable. Although the description says it is for temps +25/-25 , I do wish it was a little warmer. That's the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Great body and sleeve length. Also easy to pack. I have purchased other rain jackets, including some from LL Bean, but this one is the best! I am 5'4" and 120 pounds. Originally I ordered the petite small, but it was way too big, especially in the shoulders. Bought the XS petite in blue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best coat... Small Petite, the Best of the Best coat I bought in a very long time. Fit is perfect. so light you would never guess it is so warm. Today in NYC was in the 50 degrees. I wore it with a light sweater under it. Wonderfully warm. The best, for me is the HOOD. All coats and jackets, except LL Bean have huge hoods for giant heads, worthless in term of keeping the wind and cold. This one is winner, It closes and keeps my head and ears warm without a hat....The price? I think it this way. I will wear it many seasons, the quality of the material is excellent...And will soon forget how much I [paid for.it You get what you pay for.!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Coat I've EVER Owned I am one of those people who does not wear a coat in the winter because I do not like being bundled. I saw this jacket while I was on line and thought it looked light and warm at the same time but I will say it was a bit over my price range. While I was vacationing in Aruba I saw a sale and thought "Let me try it" It was the BEST decision I made. This jacket it warm and so light. I never feel all bundled up. I wore it in the snow and rain and the water just rolls off. I purchased the blue and the color is just great. I would give it 10 stars if they let me! Perfect jacket. I am saving my pennies to get another in a different color! You will NOT be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from comfortable, waterproof, warm, great fit I am 5 ft and 108 lbs. The extra small fits great with room for a bulky sweater. Sleeve length is great for my petite fit. It covers the buttock area completely. I purchased this coat for a trip to Europe. It is a rain coat as well as keeping you warm in temps in the upper 30's if you are moving. I like the hood because it extends beyond your face like a visor so when it does rain it provides you with more protection. It is easy to pack in its own fold up pouch. I am very happy with this and would highly recommend to others especially if you are traveling. I purchased black because it goes with everything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful coat I wearied of the puffy coats and wanted something a bit dressier that was also warm. Also wanted a coat that fully covered my bottom, but not too long. This coat is perfect in that regard, I love the length. The pockets are excellent, inside and out. The sleeves have the velcro tabs, which I appreciate because otherwise they would be a little too long. Only improvement I would make is to add two-way zippers. I walk a lot in NYC but am also on the subways daily and the 2-way zip makes a lot of sense for me, or for anyone who drives. I got the blue - such a nice change from black - and would like to see more color options!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from misleading description This would be a 5 if it came with the pockets as described. Wore it today in a light rain with temps in the low 30s. Length covers up the backside for sitting on cold or damp surfaces. Hand pockets are roomy and have zippers and the soft cuff ribbing is a nice addition. There are also two zippers to open up the tail of the coat although I'm not sure that's a feature I'll use. What is missing is a chest pocket for a phone. The only chest pocket does double duty as the stuff sack and a phone would drop down almost to the hem in that pocket. Any outdoors jacket needs a phone to keep it handy and secure. L.L. Bean, please revise the description and include this required feature.
