Women's L.L.Bean Waterproof Ski Gloves is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality These gloves are garbage. Every time I put them on, something else falls off or rips. I haven't even used them for physical activity - only for supervisory purposes of outdoor activities. I had intended to use them for a variety of snow sport activities, but I don't trust them. The clips have fallen off. One wrist strap was missing, the other just fell off by the seam, and I am waiting for other seams to tear. Received at Christmas time and have only worn them a handful of times. I bought two pairs of the same style gloves for my son and have had the same problems. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this L.L. Bean product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design; poor quality Worn them twice - hiking and XC skiing. Lots of issues. The fleece lining pulls out every time you take your hand out and then you have to stuff it back in. They aren't even close to waterproof - fingers were soaked after one fall into the powder. Fingers froze. Also, on the very first day, the little hook that keeps them together when not being worn ripped off (which anyone who hikes knows this little tab is necessary!). I generally love LLBean products, but this one is an epic fail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect for Skiing I received these gloves as a gift for Christmas. I immediately used them for skiing here in New England. They kept my hands/fingers warm for the entire day. However, the strap that is supposed to keep your glove attached to your wrist while you take the glove off broke off the second day of wear. Have returned to the store no problem, hoping for better luck with this pair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from first impressions - and fleece cuffs! I decided to take a chance on these even though there were no reviews yet. They just arrived today, so I can't comment on how the warmth holds up, but I wanted to share my first impressions. I followed the measuring recommendations and the medium is true to size for me. They seem really comfortable. I thought the chase leash around the wrist might be uncomfortable, maybe even itchy. But it's made of a soft elastic and seems quite comfortable. My wrists are on the slender side, but the elastic is actually loose by approx 1", so there seems to be plenty of room for bigger wrists. I'm giddy that I won't have to worry about dropping my gloves off the ski lift! Bonus not mentioned in the description: INTERIOR FLEECE CUFFS! Super-soft. Out of the packaging, I'm really pleased with these. I'll try to remember to update about warmth & durability after a few uses, but my recommendation is to take a chance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from cold Although they look and sound impressive, my hands were warmer without them on. I settled for a $3 pair of cloth gloves that kept my hands warmer. The fingers are too long and skinny, causing your hands to feel very tight which makes them cold. I always buy small in gloves, but these were awkwardly sized and very bulky on. They are WAY overpriced!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from thumb seam pulled apart in no time I bought two pairs of these gloves to walk the dog in - mistake! The seams around the thumb on my right hand (where I hold the leash) wore / shredded in less than a month. I thought it was a fluke but nope, happened with both pairs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Gloves, but Very Poor Strap Design These gloves meet expectations for comfort, warmth, and waterproofing, but the wrist strap / leash is very poorly designed and quite flimsy. It completely ripped off the very first time I used the gloves (and the same thing happened to my son with the men's version of the gloves). The strap is super useful when skiing, and part of the reason for my buying these gloves, so I am very disappointed that this feature is completely gone. If it weren't for this small flaw, the gloves would be great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waterproof and great fit Yes, they are waterproof and fit my hand, but since they are gloves and not mittens, my middle finger and ring finger were very cold while I was out cross country skiing in 15 degree weather. Maybe good for events other than cross country skiing.
