I gave it a slight ironing before putting it on the bed. Even my husband (who was sort of opposed to a bedskirt-didn't want the room to look cluttered or frilly) loves the way it looks.

The LL Bean pleated bed skirt is made of fabric with some weight to it so it hangs very nicely and stays in place when making the bed. I got the cream colored one and it looks very nice with my green quilted coverlet. I bought the queen size this time but I also have two twin size that I bought years ago. (I notice that twin size is no longer available). These have the perfect drop length for my beds.
