Women's L.L.Bean Wool Scarf, Plaid is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from warm, weighty, comfortable I'm from New England and it's where I currently live. I wear scarves almost every day during the colder weather (not just while I'm outdoors) and this scarf is my new favorite scarf. It's long enough to wrap around my neck and dangle forward onto my shoulders, it's weighty and warm, and the material has girth so the scarf isn't as floppy as other scarves. I love the multiple colors and also how grey is the dominant color; the scarf goes with many other clothing items. It's also great as an outer wrap if the weather isn't quite cold enough to wear a fleece or sweater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous! Sells out quickly! I bought this at the end of the season last year and I wore it everywhere just about every day until late spring. I wanted to leave a review but it was sold out and no longer available. If you are on the fence, trust me and buy it. It’s a soft wool that has drape enough to wear as a scarf, it’s sturdy enough to shove into a book bag and it looks really cute at the bottom of a bed. Don’t wait. Buy it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful But Bulky I wanted to love this scarf. It was a generous size and the neutral shades in the “Adobe” colorway were beautiful and true to the online photo. However, the scarf was way too bulky and warm for my California climate. I just couldn’t see getting much use out of it. I also found the fabric slightly itchy against my skin. If you live somewhere with a serious winter and aren’t bothered by wool, this scarf would be wonderful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe, good for wrap not scarf The colors are good and the wool is soft, but it is too huge to use for a typical scarf. It would work under a coat if your coat is a size larger, or you can drape it over the coat and cover most of the coat, or you could wrap it around your neck if you have a long neck and don't mind the bulk. It would work fine as a wrap. I think LLB should just call it a wrap to avoid confusion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Scarf I bought this in the teal color and it is beautiful. The fabric is soft, not at all scratchy. The length is perfect for wrapping around me while I work in the office or as a scarf. Can't wait for the weather to get cooler to wear it outside!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO SOFT! I bought this scarf in the Adobe color and it goes great with my Maple Brown Foreside Field Jacket. This scarf is big and plush, the yarn is so very soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect scarf or wrap It is bigger than a typical scarf for a jacket. It's wider, so it's a wrap or shawl. The colors of the gray plaid are rich. They brighten up anything in its many colors especially a heather gray. Perfect for an extra layer or a drafty spot by a fire.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful & Soft Can be used for bulky scarf or shawl or lap blanket while traveling. Cream has muted colors, so many compliments on this soft wrap. If you have hesitated, don’t, even better, get one for a gift. Love it! Definitely recommend.
