Rated 1 out of 5 by Tpole from can’t recommend this product. Pole collapsed when I used it to walk over volcanic rock and needed the support. It could not be fixed. So make sure if you buy these that you check them really well before you depend on them when walking on uneven ground.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bruce from Nice cane Just recently damaged a hip and waiting for replacement time so I bought this cane. It seems sturdy and well made. I have walking sticks like these, but this is a cane. It looks like I will soon need a replacement tip. I could not find this here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mackie from Great but here is a couple of ideas I took this on a trip to Italy and it worked fairly well. It has a great handle grip and the strap to which i added a snap allow me to attach it to my belt and never leave it behind. Great when i was taking photos. It is great that it can collapse to a small size. Two small problems, the extension latches eventually come loose but can be fixed by tightening the screws. Consider thumbscrews so there would be no need to find a screwdriver. The second is that the rubber tip is soon pierced by a metal spike. This might be good for hiking but on smooth surfaces it is a hazard. I see there are replacement rubber ends hopefully they will resist the spike.
