Men's Uplander Pro Briar Pants is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pants, not heavy duty I've gone through 2 pairs in only six years, and I just bought a third pair (on sale- I waited). They won't last for many seasons like my Filsons, but they perform way better overall, that is, while they last. They are very lightweight, less than half of the Filson's. Fall grouse hunting on warm days, the sweat just leaves the pants. You can wade through a river, and they'd be dry in an hour. Yet in the cold weather, you stay really warm provided you keep walking. And ice won't build up on them. Both former pairs eventually tore around the crotch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfy-top section a bit thin/unprotected Extremely comfortable pants. Flex well with movement. The only negative i can offer is the protective part stops too low and the top section material is very thin. I appreciate the protection on my legs but feel these need a bit more coverage up top. I realize this could affect comfort and fit so not sure what the solution is here. Suspect the thinner top fabric will eventually have a fair amount of pulls in it from thorns and have one pull after a half dozen hunts. thus far i've been well protected when going through thorny brush and don't hesitate to go where the birds may be. Overall very happy particularly with the comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants While I agree with a previous reviewer that the shell pockets in the pants are difficult to access and add unnecessary weight, I found these to pants to be the best upland pants I have ever used. I have bird hunted in Filson, Kuiu, Carhartt, and Columbia pants, and these by leaps and bounds are my favorite. The stretchy fabric feels great and the cuffs where your ankles rub together are extremely durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pants for Georgia Quail Hunting I recently purchased these pants for quail hunting in Georgia. We have briars and thick brush to contend with. These pants are very flexible and I wasn't stuck by a single briar. I love the stretch in these pants. I did find that they run big. I normally wear a 35 and I went with a 34 instead of a 36 waist. The 36 waisted pants were big on me and the 34s fit great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unimpressed These seemed like they were going to be amazing...but they simply leave a lot to be desired. I was searching for a technical pant that was breathable and durable. These pants simply are not. The nylon covered section and the reinforced bottoms are 10/10. They do a wonderful job of abrasion/puncture resistence. But they are HOT. Don't wear these in the truck or you'll be sweating behind the knees before you get to the field. The upper section is incredibly comfortable...but picks/snags like crazy. Through maybe a dozen hunts the front by the pockets and the crotch look awful. Threads pulled and snags all over. The crotch already has seams trying to burst from briars. These had all the makings of a good pant but didn't follow through. Maybe i got a lemon??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NON-HUNTER INSPIRED DESIGN Pants are not designed for someone who actually gets in the "woods" when they hunt. Chap portion of the pants should come up to the crotch both front & back. The cuff was good. Shell holders on pants are not a good idea for they add weight to the pants. Carry your shells in a vest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I recently purchased these pants for my upland bird hunting in CA and SD. After two torturous days hunting mountain quail and ruffed grouse in the high Sierras and another two full days hunting valley quail in the high desert, these pants have been tested by just about all types of elements (marshes, briars, shrubs, dead branches, etc) and come out like new. However, I was a slightly uncomfortable in our early-season warm weather due to the synthetic fabric but I like that they are washable (unlike my x-brand single tin upland pants that require a new application of wax after each wash). I normally wear a 32” waist pant and these run slightly larger but have an elastic waiste band that takes up the slack. They also are designed with a full cut providing plentiful of room for movement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Product but lacks one thing The only thing missing on these pants are "suspender buttons". I had to take them off of the pants I just retired and sew them on my new pants. Should be standard equipment in my opinion.
