Not happy with flannel lined red jacket
I was hoping that this flannel lined jacket would be comparable to the fleece lined jacket which I own two of. I wanted a red jacket but that color only came in the flannel lined. I was disappointed that the flannel lined jacket did not have the same weight or warmth as the fleece model.

Very Nice Jacket but Not for Very Cold Weather
Very nice jacket but not for very cold Western New York days. It is truly a three-season jacket but I wear it any day the air temp is 25 degrees or above. It should be noted that I don't spend a great deal of time outside but leave from car to my errand stops and then back again. Don't think I'd wear it if I plan to spend a great deal of time outside in temps below 40.

Need to replace cheap nylon shell
I purchased this jacket about 2 years ago to replace a Bean Warm-up Jacket I had worn for over 30 years. While the new jacket is very similar to the old jacket in many respects, the new jacket now has a cheap nylon shell that crackles like cheap plastic when the temps drop into the 20s or below. The old jacket used supplex nylon that remained soft and supple no matter how cold it was outside, but also repelled wind and rain. I am very disappointed with this jacket. This is the first product that I have purchased from Bean that was truly disappointing. Come on Bean you can do better than this.

Not worth the money
The flannel lining is very thin. This is basically a windbreaker.

Nice, light jacket. In winter it's best with a hoodie or sweatshirt to stay warm. Sping it's great by itself
